Computer Security

imaginary proposes a Serious Game about computer security, in order to make the player think about inappropriate actions, which could compromise the computer security system of the company.
At the same time, the game can be used as a tool to assess the educational and information needs of the company.
The main feature of this Serious Game is ease of use: users can play online with their own computer at any time, at their convenience, even for a short time. Every learning step is divided into short units, so that each unit takes no more than five minutes.
The aims of the game are:
- to deal with the topics in an intuitive and easy way;
- to give to the users the opportunity to study in depth any specific topic, according to their interests and needs;
- to report the results obtained, keeping track of the each of activities completed and evaluating the level of comprehension attained, either total or partial (i.e. relating to each learning unit);
- to create a flexible tool that can be implemented to meet any organizational change or which can be customised according to business needs;
- to save time and resources in the long run;
- to increase employee participation and awareness of “less captivating” topics such as computer security.
The protagonist of the game is an employee of the RavaCorp who has to defend himself against a hacker's attacks. The game is mainly focused on:
- Physical attacks (Password Disclosure, Trashing, Cryptography of Data, Backup);
- Remote attacks (File Sharing, Weak Passwords, Not Updated Systems, Identity Sharing);
- Intrusions (Wireless Security, Rogue File Sharing, Social Engineering).
