Serious Games for ratiopharm
The partnership with imaginary begins with the cooperation between the specialist training experts in Serious Games and the HR manager in ratiopharm for an accurate analysis of the firm's educational needs. By following some particularly experienced agents it is possible to understand the peculiarities of this job and prepare real and believable scenarios.
From the imaginary platform, the project of two Serious Games available on the web upon prior authentication, has been carried out. This way, each agent can decide when and how to benefit from the opportunity offered by Serious Game; visualizing a sort of “personal home page” from where it is possible to gain access to one of the created applications, a mini-glossary in support of the games and reports of every play.
The first Serious Game is created for training the agents who submit pharmaceuticals from the company to a pharmacist who is not yet a regular ratiopharm client.
The second one, on the other hand, is designed for the agents that visit a pharmacist who is already a regular ratiopharm costumer.
These Serious Games retrace a possible dialogue between agent and pharmacist: different approaches are suggested, for example concerning the behaviour and choice of the vocabulary to use. Also looked at is the way through present innovations it is possible to deal with the objections of the other person. The user is able to interact with the application directly from their PC, making his/her own choices. At the end of the game, feedback is received that focuses on both strong and weak points of his/her interaction (the so-called learning by doing) so that it is possible to sharpen up his/her communicative and selling style.
“These two Serious Games, together with the activity of Field Trainer, made it possible for the sales assistant to set about innovative and highly customizable training paths that led them to a sensible improvement of the performances.”
