eLSe-Academy
imaginary takes part in the project eLSe-Academy – eLearning for Seniors Academy.
This project is the continuation of a previous project entitled eLSe - eLearning for Seniors; it is co-financed by the European Union as part of the 7th Framework Programme.
The eLSe-Academy project is coordinated by ILI-FIM - NewLearning, University of Erlangen Nürnberg and it officially started on the 1st December 2007.
The primary goal of the eLSe-Academy project is to realize and develop an e-Learning academy for seniors - the eLSe-Academy- in six European countries.
The eLSe-Academy also aims to provide optimal support for seniors by promoting their involvement in the information and knowledge society, by applying the information technologies as a learning medium as well as a learning content: "learning the basic information skills through the computer itself, within an eLearning process".
In the two-year eLSe-Academy project, an informal, flexible and accessible course based on ICT technologies will be developed, tested and evaluated on an e-Learning platform.
In January 2008 imaginary s.r.l. had the honour and the pleasure to host in its offices in Milan the kick-off meeting that marked the official start of the activities.
Please fill in the eLSe-Academy survey to help us to analyse needs and expectations of elderly people. With your help we will be able to customize the contents of the eLSe-Academy e-Learning platform. Thank you!
